It is not necessary for you to go to a professional photographer to get pictures for the announcement. Just make sure the picture is clear, has nice contrast and features the baby. Make sure there is no clutter in the backround and your baby is the center of attention. If the picture is taken too far away or the lighting is to dark, the announcements will not look their best. Be sure to take several pictures (atleast a dozen so you have many to choose from) with different positions. Maybe sit baby in swing, or bouncer for an upright photo. Pictures of tiny toes and fingers are great additions! Choose the your favorite outfit to take the pictures in, don't worry about the color of the outfit, your announcement can be color coordinated with the colors in the baby's outfit. Another fun idea for a personalized, unique photo birth announcement is to use props that are unique to the family or parents. For parents who are into racing, take a picture of the baby on a checkered flag material, or if your family plays or is into football, take a picture of the baby with a with your favorite teams apparal or memorabilia. Maybe you are an Army, Military, or Navy family, take pictures with our American flag or other patriotic props. Your options are endless and can match the design and color scheme of your birth announcement itself to further add to the customization.

Payment is to be made within 48 hours of auctions end, and necessary to send proof. Payment must be cleared before cards will be mailed out. I do accept check and money orders, but the turn around will be extended depending on how long the check takes to clear.
