BRAND NEW BOOK TITLES FOR KIDS!

     Autumn is in the air, the kids are back to school, and that means that there are many new book titles for kids!  The timing is great as most kids have to complete reading at home for reading practice!  There are several new titles of books that have just been released or that are due to be released soon.  Here are just a few new books for you and your kids to check out!

1.  Brisingr-  The saga of Eragon continues in this brand new book to be released on September 20.  Fans of Christopher Paolini will be thrilled to read about the farm boy turned dragon rider who must save the world from the evil king!  For pre-teens and young teens!

2. Louise, The Adventures of a Chicken- This cute, hilarious book by Kate DiCamillo ( author of Because Winn Dixie)features illustrations by Newberry Medalist Harry Bliss.  Laugh along as you meet the adventures of a chicken who is not afraid to fly!  For ages 4-8.  To be released October 1.

3.  Madeline and the Cats of Roam- Written by the grandson of Madeline’s creator, Ludwig Bemelmans writes the first all-new Madeline book in over 50 years!  For ages 6-8 ( 48 pages).

           4.  Eve of Emperor Penguin-    The Magic Treehouse series by Mary Pope Osborne continues in Antarctica!  For ages 8-12 years, 128 pages!  To be released September 23.

 5.  Thump, Quack,Moo:  A Whacky Adventure-  Doreen Cronin ( author of Click, Clack, Moo) writes another hilarious, adorable picture book for kids of all ages!  42 pages.
